No, thanks, I don't want your K1.2m: TNM winner

BLANTYRE--Denis Nkhoma of Lilongwe says doesn’t need K1.2 million he won in a TNM Tikolore promotion.

The reason isn’t known why someone could be refusing this windfall.

"I don’t want your money. I have more money than that. Give that to others," Nkhoma is quoted by the Nation as telling TNM officials who phoned him to break the news.

Nkhoma even went further to warn TNM not to "play games" with him.

But TNM officials say they will still go ahead to convince Nkhoma that the money is his for grabs and still declare him as the 9th winner of the K42 million promotion which ends on July 31.

This is the first known case when a raffle winner has declined claim his prize.
