
BLANTYRE--Beer and soft drinks manufacturers Carlsberg Malawi isn’t happy with bottlestores and other outlets who charge more for their products.
They have launched a campaign called 'Why Pay More' which seeks to civic educate consumers and customers on recommended prices.
The company wants shops to charge K60 per bottle Coke or Fanta, and K170 for Carlsberg; K150 for Kuche Kuche; K190 for Carlsberg Special and Stout.
Carlsberg CEO Abel Chanje told reporters the campaign to address overpricing of their products was aimed at making their products affordable to consumers.
Carlsberg enjoys total monopoly of beer products.
