BLANTYRE--Rich South Africa is indeed is being neighbourly to needy Malawi.
The Jacob Zuma-led country, also known as Mzansi, has oiled the country with $35 million (K585 million) for the product.
This means the country, which burns one million litres a day, will use the money to procure fuel for one month.
The money would come in installments, South African high commissioner to Malawi Thombile Mabude, told Pres Joyce Banda.
The two governments would determine whether this will be a loan or a donation, Mabude said.
