BLANTYRE--Ruling Peoples Party candidate Aram Beza has been prevented from voting in Tuesday's Mzimba Central by-election because he voted in another constituency in '09.

Mzimba Central fell vacant following the death of Prof Donton Mkandawire, a DPP MP. Another by-election was taking place in Mzimba South-West following the election of incumbent MP Khumbo Kachali to the vice-presidency.
