MZUZU--From 15 centres in Mzimba South West, Raymond Nkhata of Peoples Party leads by 6119 votes and Independent James Nthara at 2086 votes!

Mzimba SW fell vacant after Khumbo Kachali was appointed Malawi's Vice Presisent. If People's Party wins, this will be the party's first elected MP.

Other candidates are Ronald Chavula of Democratic Progressive Party (DDP) and another independent Baxter Mzunda. Mzimba Central has the following six candidate, Owen Mkandawire (DPP), Aram Beza (PP), Enita Wezi Njolwa (Aford), Bonifasio Ngulube (National Rainbow Coalition), and independents Joseph Mabvuto Kachali and Denis Kandodo Mvula.
