BLANTYRE--Malawi's parliament will start sitting from November 12 in Lilongwe, the speaker of the national assembly Henry Chiumunthu Banda announced Thursday.
In a statement, Chimunthu Banda said this will be the 3rd meeting of the national assembly in the 43rd session of parliament.
The 193-member house, previously dominated by the former ruling DPP, passed several "bad laws" last year which earned fierce criticism from locals and international government who support most of the country's development agenda.
