US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton arrived in Malawi Sunday and she was serenaded by the colourful Malawi National Dance Troupe. "This is wonderful," she told Vice-President Khumbo Hastings Kachali who led the welcoming party at Kamuzu International Airport. "Welcome to Malawi!" said Pres Joyce Banda. Responded Clinton: “Malawi is wonderful!" The two women proceeded to give each other a big hug. Associated Press photographer Jacquelyn Martin told MaraPost’s Raphael Tenthani about what she’d just witnessed: "That's the nicest welcome so far." Martin must know what she’s talking about as she’s travelling with the US top diplomat around Africa. She’s been with Clinton to Uganda, South Sudan and Kenya already before coming to Malawi.
