In news reports by Mana, Vice President of the Republic of Malawi, Khumbo Kachale arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to attend the burial ceremony of late Prime Minister, Meles Zenawi who is being laid to rest today.

Kachali was accompanied by his wife Martha as they arrived at Bole International airport around 3:30 am, Saturday.  

The Malawi Head of Mission to Ethiopia, Isaac Munlo was on hand at the airport to welcome the Kachalis.

The former Ethiopian Prime Minister died on August 20,  

The cause of his death is not yet known, but media reports are that he was unwell for about two months.

He died at the age of 57. He also served as President of Ethiopia from 1991 to 1995.
