LILONGWE—Malawi and Nigeria have established diplomatic relations. The Nigerian High Commissioner to Malawi, Muhammad Luwan Gana, who held discussions with Pres Banda after presenting his credentials, said he would use his presence in the country to promote trade between the two countries. Gana also promised that his country would soon send agricultural experts who will help Malawi in large-scale cassava farming.
