Sing again, Clinton asks before dancing in Malawi

Hillary-Clinton-in-MalawiLILONGWE--It wasn't all work and no play for US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Malawi Sunday.

After visiting the Feed the Future project, Clinton was so moved by the singing and dancing women that at the very end of tour she said:

"Before I leave, I would like to hear you sing again!"

She got what she’d requested and she joined the dance.

"I think she's very impressed here," said a senior Malawian government official. "She was supposed to be here only 20 minutes but it's close to an hour now!"

Lucky enough she came by her own jet so she couldn't miss a flight. Besides, the village where all this was happening is stone’s throw away from Kamuzu international Airport.

Clinton is the highest ranking US official to visit Malawi since the re-introduction of multiparty democracy in 1994. She left Malawi for South Africa at the last leg of her five-nation African tour. Before visiting Malawi she visited Uganda, South Sudan and Kenya.
