LILONGWE--Five people are in police custody after they were arrested in connection a string of robberies in Chinsapo, Lilongwe.

“We were looking for these robbers and we are proud they are now arrested because they are connected to a number of robberies in Chinsapo,” said Public Relations Officer Kingsley Dandaula.

The five suspects are 19-year-old Ackim Chinsi and Chester Chamwala, Felix Magombo, Wyson Roy and Mustapha Osman, all 17.

The five will soon appear in court, police said.
