PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Her Excellency Mrs. Joyce Banda, President of the Republic of Malawi, and His Excellency Justice Richard Banda, SC (Rtd) will pay an official visit to the United States of America from September 17- 28, 2012.

During the visit, Her Excellency will address the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in New York. Prior to that, Her Excellency will make a keynote speech at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Legislative Conference Luncheon on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, Senate Room 212, East Capitol Street, N.E., and 1st Street, Washington D.C.

Her Excellency will also attend a number of investment forums on Malawi and high – level meetings with Malawi’s development partners in New York. On Saturday, September, 22, 2012 she will meet Malawians resident in the United States at 02:30 p.m. at:
