MZUZU-As the hype of the long overdue Presidential Cup finals involving the peoples team Big Bullets and the Kaning’ina based soldiers Moyale Barracks football club was fast gaining momentum, Malawi government through the Ministry of Sports has swiftly moved in and ordered the cancellation of the grand finale which was scheduled to take place this Sunday at the giant Kamuzu Stadium citing security reasons.

Government claims it has been advised by building engineers from its department of building that Kamuzu Stadium is not fit to host the event hence the sudden change.

According to the Minister of Sports Enoch Chihana, government has therefore re-scheduled the final game and this time, it will be played at Civo Stadium in the Capital Lilongwe on 1^st September, 2012. In the mean time, there is no any immediate reaction from Moyale and Big Bullets officials on this breaking development.
