Ghana national team fondly known as the Black stars has become the first team to qualify for the 2013 African Cup of nations to be hosted by the rainbow nation after beating Malawi aka flames by 1 goal to nil at Civo Stadium in Malawi's capital Lilongwe. The flames lost 2 goals to nil during the first leg in Accra and today was also defeated by 1 goal to nil in the return leg meaning they have been beaten by 3 goals to nil on aggregate.
The Black Stars scored three minutes in the first half sending the jam packed Civo Stadium into total graveyard silence throughout the entire game.
Elsewhere, Mali has also qualified and by the time of posting the story, defending champions Zambia had just qualified in an emotional penalty shoot-outs beating Uganda by 9 goals to 8 in Kampala.
