Kondwani Nankhumwa said to be consulting on his political Direction

LILONGWE (Maravipost): Following two humiliating defeats in court cases of his position of southern Region vice President, Leader of Opposition in Parliament , Kondwani Nankhumwa said is currently consulting with various stakeholders on his political direction.
In a statement on 3rd January 2024, Nankhumwa stated that he has accepted the courts decisions on the matter as he recognizes it as the highest authority in the country.
He said their decision to seek legal recourse steamed from a sincere belief in defending the democratic principles underpin their political system.
“We contested the move to dismiss us from our elected positions emphasizing the importance of due process and adherence to the party’s internal structures.
Supreme court dismissed Nankhumwa , Grelzder Jeffrey, Cecelia Chazama case of being removed from their positions from the party which were elected by delegates of the party in 2018.
This comes after 4 days of the dismissal of the case with cost from High court .
Currently Nankhumwa has dragged his party to court sixteen times of which the party president felt bad about it during the recent National governing council NGC meeting which was held in Mangochi!
