10 years down the line without Boma derby, new baby was born in 2014 by the name of Villa FC, sponsored by a group of business men from the Boma and Mwami Boarder led by Yobe Dube.

The team secured the Premier division slot from Mtsiliza United after the 2021 season. It is the team which is currently displaying beautiful football and has attracted many followers.

Mchinji Boma Strikers is also a different team full of youthful players in the likes of Jack Toure and goalkeeper Yamikani Chilima while Villa FC have Emanuel Mwale, Zebron Pedro, Jafali John, Junior Mbewe, Ruben Kayisi and George Stephen.

He said his charges are eager to play and encouraged them in endurance as they will be meeting an experienced side.

Villa are optimistic of getting three vital points which will see them possessing 10 points and pray that their group leaders lose their game so that they ascend to the top slot.

His counterpart, Bright Manda for Mchinji Boma Strikers FC said they have noted their weaknesses and vow to rectify them ahead of the derby.

He further said they are not undermining Villa FC but hoping to collect their first maximum points at the end of regulation time and promised spectators who will come on the day a beautiful display.

The most interesting part of this Derby, regardless of any result after the game, players and officials from both sides will be seen chilling together in famous clubs in the district such as Wikadzi, Wako, Ku Mango, Gazebo and Kwa Baba at the Western Boarder.
