MEC urges Malawians to view proposed constituencies, wards boundaries

LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) says starting from Thursday, March 4, 2022 will be displaying the preliminary maps showing the proposed boundaries for constituencies and wards.
According to MEC Communication Director Sangwani Mwafulirwa, the commission is encouraging Malawians to go and view the maps from Traditional Authorities (TAs).
”As commission, we are displaying these maps for the stakeholders to appreciate what the commission has done and to get feedback from the stakeholders that can help the commission to improve the maps boundaries that we have developed”.
The commission says the last date for the public view of maps will be on March 17, 2022.
