LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Old Mutual Malawi on Friday, October 18, 2024 launched its “Warm Heart in a Frame” campaign.
The initiative aimed at promoting the country’s tourism sector through “Zimayamba ndi ife” initiative.
Accotding to the company, the campaign features strategically placed green photo frames at iconic locations.
This will allow visitors to capture and share the beauty of Malawi.
The frames have been set up in Cape Maclear (Mangochi), Nkhata-bay, Lilongwe (BICC), and Mulanje Mountain.
After the launch, Minister of Tourism, Vera Kamtukule, lauded Old Mutual for the initiative, urging other organizations to follow suit.
“This campaign showcases Malawi’s stunning landscapes and cultural heritage, encouraging locals and tourists alike to share their experiences,” lauds Kamtukure.
Old Mutual Marketing and Cooperate affairs Executive Patience Chatsika said they have unveiled the green photo frames as one way of celebrating 70 years of existence in Malawi.
“The campaign is expected to boost tourism and contribute to Malawi’s economic growth”, said Chatsika.
The launch started with a parade and match from old mutual offices to Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC).
