MOSCOW-(MaraviPost)-Russian model who previously called Vladimir Putin a “psychopath” has been found dead with her body stuffed inside a suitcase more than a year after she went missing.
Prior to this, Vedler raised concerns over Putin’s crackdown on protests and desire to enhance the integrity of Russia.
“I can only assume, in my opinion, clear psychopathy or psychopathy is seen in him. For psychopaths, it is important to constantly experience a sense of fullness and sharpness of life, so they love risk, intense experiences, intense communication, intense activity – an intense and dynamic life,” she wrote on Twitter.
However, Russia’s Investigative Committee said the deceased’s postings on Putin in January 2021 are not considered to be connected with her death.
According to Mirror, the deceased’s ‘jealous’ ex-boyfriend, Dmitry Korovin, 23, has confessed to strangling her to death in Moscow after rowing over money.
He reportedly told interrogators that he spent three nights in a hotel room with her corpse before stuffing it inside a new suitcase and driving 300 miles to the Lipetsk region where he left it in the boot of a car.
In order to cover up his gruesome act, the convict disclosed that he kept on posting pictures and messages on the model’s social media pages to make friends believe she was still alive.
However, the victim’s friend, Evgeniy Foster, raised an alarm after he became suspicious and together with another friend in Moscow, they filed a missing person report which led to the discovery of the victim’s body.
Despite Korovin’s troubling confession, some still believe there’s a connection between her death and the rant against Putin before her initial disappearance following the ongoing invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces.
