LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-The central bankers have completed a move for the Malawi National team right back McDonald Lameck from neighbouring Blue Eagles FC.
Lameck signed a three-year contract on Monday, January 15, 2024, with the area 47-based side.
The 24-year-old right-back won the TNM Superleague rookie accolade in the 2022 season when playing for Blue Eagles FC.
Before joining men in uniform, Lameck played for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve FC in 2016 and joined Ntopwa FC in 2018.
In his reaction after being unveiled, Lameck said, he is looking forward to the new challenge and to contributing to the success of the team.
“I am extremely excited to join Silver which is one of the biggest teams in the land. I know the anticipations that are there, hence I will try my level best to perform beyond that”, said Lameck.
Lameck is the second signing this season for the Central Bankers after catching Christopher Gototo days ago.
