FCB Nyasa Big Bullets deny dismal show over players’ poor welfare

TP Mazembe player in Black against Bullets

BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has denied accusations that the team’s poor show in 2024 TNM Super League season has to do with the poor welfare of players at large.

Albert Chigoga, Big Bullets Chief Administration Officer said the team does not owe players anything this time around.

“At Bullets, players’ salaries and bonuses are paid simultaneously. Normally, we pay them on the 28th of every month. Their salaries and bonuses for the month of June are being processed and they will get them by June 28.

“We do not owe them any outstanding dues. As for their travelling allowances, we pay them there and then as required. Just for your information, we already paid their travel allowances when we went to face Creck,” says Chigoga.

Bullets, have so far won three games, drawn six and lost once, yet last season swept all four major trophies on the domestic scene namely TNM Super League, FDH Bank Cup, Airtel Top 8 and Castel Challenge Cup. This is a clear indication that  the team is really struggling this season.

The people’s team are on position five with 15 points from 10 games and they trail leaders Silver Strikers by 11 points as of now.
